ABOUT MITCH SELLETT

Mitch Sellett is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Specialty Managers Group (SMG), Architects & Engineers Insurance Company (AEIC) and AELC Risk Managers (AELCRM), and serves on their respective Boards.

Education
In 1989, Mitch graduated from Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics, followed by a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management in 2001.

Career
Mr. Sellett has spent his entire professional career, beginning in 1989, at SMG and its predecessor firm, AELC. Starting as an underwriter, his duties have expanded over his career to include management of all administrative, underwriting, financial and regulatory operations, becoming President\CEO of AELC in 1999 and President\CEO of AEIC in 2004. Mr. Sellett serves as the primary liaison with AEIC’s Board of Directors, reinsurers, regulators and professional consultants.
